- Expanded the use of immigration enforcement to target foreign nationals, mainly students, researchers, and legal resident
- Revoke the visas of Chinese Students
- Pardoned the January 6, 2021 rioters and pardoned the president of Honduras who was convicted of trafficking tons of US bounded cocaine
- “Released” the Epstein files but redacted practically everything
- Added more tariffs and slowed economic growth
- Released the Big Beautiful Bill that increases the funds for defense and border enforcement but decreases the funding on taxpayers and Medicaid cuts
And the list goes on and on.

A majority of students and teachers have had the same opinions on Trump and his administration. “I feel like he’s definitely overstepping his boundaries and usurping lots of power that he should not be entitled to. It’s frustrating watching people stay silent, especially those in power who have capitulated and not stood for what’s right.” – Mr. Marks (Teacher at Hawkins)
“I believe that the Trump administration has been promising a lot, but hasn’t been doing too much… I think that these riots are starting to affect the country as a civilization in general.” – Daniel Miranda (Senior)
