Carmen Gomez, Photographer
Carmen Gomez is a 16 year old student who is in her junior year, class of 2027. Since being a student at Aaugutus F. Hawkins High School, she is currently in her third year of playing volleyball and she has been on varsity since her freshman year. Carmen spends her free time shopping, baking/cooking, spending time with family, and traveling wherever her sister wants to go. She recently traveled to Portland, Oregon to visit her brother. After graduating high school, she wants to become an Ultrasound technician. When she’s not playing volleyball, you can find her exploring the campus or sitting in the gym.
Kasey Hernandez, Reporter
Kasey Hernandez is a junior who is graduating in 2027. She is an observant, friendly and respectful person. Some things Kasey enjoys are reading, going on walks and painting (even though she’s not the best). She loves hanging out and laughing with her friends. Kasey is a member of the Academic Decathlon and hopes to join another club, maybe robotics, very soon. Before the school year ends she hopes to achieve many things like improve her overall GPA and be more involved. Another thing she is hoping to do this year is branch out by becoming more social. After high school Kasey hopes to pursue a career in nursing.

Emanuel Hernandez is a sophomore who is part of the class of 2028. He is always trying to be a better person, especially when he talks to people without a filter, he know he can hurt their feelings. He thinks that we all came to this world because we have a purpose and he tries his best to always find his purpose in life. After graduating from Augustus F. Hawkins High School, he wants to be an electrician, and he will try his best to achieve his goals.
