Four astronauts went on a big trip around the Moon. Their names are Reid, Victor, Christina, and Jeremy. The astronauts stayed inside a spaceship named Orion for ten whole days. The spaceship that they stayed in is as big as two minivans, and that is relatively small for four grown adults to live together. Living in space is very different from living on Earth because there isn’t any gravity and everything just floats. Astronauts can not sleep normally as they would if they were on Earth; they would have to sleep in sleeping bags and stick themselves onto the walls, and Christina even slept upside down. Eating food is also a tiny bit difficult, and sometimes they have to play cat and mouse just for the water.

Astronauts have 189 types of food to choose from, but they don’t have a fridge, so all the food has to stay in bags. Eating in space is a hassle sometimes because the astronauts, when eating, have to be careful of the crumbs getting in their eyes. The four astronauts have to stay fit so their bones stay strong, so they exercise about 30 minutes every single day just so they can keep those strong bones. The four astronauts, when working out, usually do bicep curls and use rowing machines. Taking showers is difficult in space because there isn’t any running water; it all just floats up, so the alternative is to use wet wipes to clean up, and it’s worse for using the restroom because they have to use plastic bags instead. On the first day of the mission, the crew encountered technical problems with the personal computing devices. During Artemis II, astronauts had a jam-packed schedule, but they made time for a traditional Easter egg hunt on Sunday, except it was “dehydrated scrambled eggs” that were hidden around the cabin.
