At a time when schools across the country are working to close educational gaps in undeserved communities, math teacher, robotics coach and assistant swim coach, Ms. Kong, is making a direct impact by inspiring students through STEM education. Through math and as the lead teacher in the robotics program, she helps students build problem-solving skills, confidence, and opportunities for future careers in technology and engineering. Her mission reflects current national conversations about increasing access to quality education and preparing students in under-represented communities for a rapidly changing, technology-driven world.
