School nurses are the first to be called for care and emergencies for students but, they cant do it fo alone. Getting resources and support strengthens school nurses to keep students heslthy and safe.

Ana Oxlaj, Photographer

Ana Oxlaj is 16 years old, born on July 31, and is a Junior (class of 2027). She is the youngest of six siblings and the last one in high school. She tends to enjoy music, her favorite subject is math, and she enjoys meeting new people. She wants to help people out in any way she can and dreams of becoming a Social Worker in the future. She wants to be more involved in school this year, so she plans to join more clubs and participate in school activities.

Esme Ordaz, Photographer, Social Media Team

Esme Ordaz is a proud latina sophomore student attending Augustus Hawkins High School. This is her first year doing Journalism. Esme has run 22 races for SRLA 2 being the L.A Marathon. Esme is a passionate, determined, persistent person. She is excited to be a part of the journalism team working as a photographer and is a part of the social media team.
