Atlético and Barcelona played on Tuesday April 14th, 12am PST. They played in Atlético’s stadium, the Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid, Spain. They came into the game 2-0 up on the scoreboard, but before they could blink, 24 minutes into the game Barcelona tied Lamine Yamal scored in the 4th minute followed by Ferran Torres who scored in the 24th minute. Before the first half could finish, Ademola Lookman scored in the 31st minute to make the aggregate score 3–2 in favor for Atlético. Later before the game could finish, Eric García received a red card for a foul that seems to happen to Barcelona every Quarter finals. Even after the game finished many still speculate the referees are against Barcelona for what seems to be biased against them.
Liverpool played against PSG in their home stadium at Anfield in Liverpool, England. PSG came into the game 0-2 up on aggregate dominating the first leg between the two teams. On their visit to Anfield they also dominated the game showing that they were the superior team, again getting a 0-2 on the board making the aggregate 0-4 in favor of PSG.
Bayern vs Real Madrid was a watch on Wednesday at 12am PST, coming into the game Bayern were up 2-1 on aggregate and with the game happening in their home stadium the Alliance Arena in Munich, Germany they were highly confident in their ability to keep the game in their favor. When the game started a mistake by Bayern’s goalkeeper (Manuel Neuer) cost them their lead with Arda Güler scoring a goal within the first minute of the game making the aggregate 2-2. 5 minutes later in the 6th minute Alksandar Pavlović scored and made the aggregate 3-2 for Bayern. Arda Güler again made the scoring go back to 3-3 on aggregate in the 29th minute. Harry Kane followed this by scoring in the 38th minute making the aggregate 4-3 for Bayern. Kylian Mbappé scored in the 42nd minute tying the game again on aggregate for Madrid to 4-4. Near the end of the game Eduardo Camavinga received a second yellow which sent him off meaning Madrid went down to 10 men on the field. Due to the red card Bayern were able to score in the 89th minute by Luis Díaz and 5 minutes later Micheal Olise scored and made the aggregate score 6-4. After the match Arda Güler received a red card by the referee for arguing with his decisions.
Arsenal vs Sporting happened at the same time as the other game on Wednesday in Arsenals home stadium at Emirates Stadium in London, England. The aggregate coming into the game was 1-0 for Arsenal and stayed 1-0 throughout the game. Both teams did their best to score but ultimately weren’t able to get past the others defense. Although they both had many shots happen none were on target expect for one each.
