Our Boys Golf Team, coached by Coach Brown and Coach Jorge played at the Westchester Golf Course, going against many different schools like Harvard College, Washington Prep, etc. They showed their skills during practice, hitting the golf balls to the best of their ability during practice, anticipating till it was there time to compete.
Golf requires not only skill but patience and consistency to play the game, and these boys have the dedication to play the game, even knowing that anything could go bad, that won’t stop them from having fun with their friends and playing the game.
This competition started very late than usual, where it normally starts at 3:00 pm but this time it started at 5:00 pm, leaving time for the boys to practice more than usual, letting them focus on their hitting and work on their consistency to get the ball near the hole. Lateness did not stop these golfers from doing their best in the competition, as they were playing to the best of their ability, swinging the golf club, and hitting the golf ball towards the hole.
All the boys were hyping each other up right before they all started getting ready to hit. These boys have shown they have made a special bond with each other, even if they started knowing each other during golf or outside of golf. Having a great bond with your teammates make not only the competition fun but also the whole sport in general.
Even when the competition ended at 7:00 pm, the boys looked extremely tired and yet still had the energy to jump and joke around with each other as they all gathered around together. They all seemed excited after finally finishing the competition, laughing and playing around. Even on the bus, everyone was still messing around with each other, really showing the bond these guys have with each other.
