The round of 16 opponents have been drawn, 16 teams found out who they play against, who will win. 8 teams went through automatically and the other eight were those who won their play-off games.

After Galatasaray’s win over Juventus they face a new giant in their way of the prestigious trophy, Liverpool. A formidable opponent for the Turkish side, they will play their first match at home against the English team at 10:45am PST Tuesday, March 10th.

Newcastle’s one sided win over Qarabag FK led to them drawing against FC Barcelona, a strong Spanish side. Newcastle are now set to face them at home in a thriller of a match at 1pm Tuesday March 10th PST.

Atlético Madrid’s win over Club Brugge led them to a surprise opponent in English side Tottenham Hotspur. Atlético Madrid are set to play against them at home at 1pm Tuesday March 10th PST.

Atlanta’s surprise run in the UEFA Champions League has turned more surprising due to them drawing Bayern Munich, a strong German side. Atlanta are placed to host Bayern at home and will also play at 1pm Tuesday March 10th PST.

Leverkusen’s sliver win against Olympiacos has led to their draw against Arsenal, a strong English side. Leverkusen are set to host Arsenal at their home stadium and will play the following day at 10:45am PST Tuesday, March 11th.

The surprising team to be in the play-off’s PSG (due to them being the current UCL winners) won against Monaco in a close match which leads them to play against Chelsea FC. PSG are set to host Chelsea at home 1pm am PST Tuesday, March 11th.

Bodø/Glimt’s surprising run against Inter leads them to play against Sporting, a good Portuguese side at home. The Norwegian side is set to host them first in their home stadium at 1pm am PST Tuesday, March 11th.

Real Madrid’s win over Benfica leads them to face Manchester City, which was to be expected since they have played against each other for the past couple of years in the tournament. Madrid will host them at 1pm PST Tuesday, March 11th.

The surprising fact is that there are a total of 6 English teams that went through, two German teams, three Spanish teams, one Turkish team, one Norwegian team, one French team, one Italian team, and one Portuguese team.
