

The JV Soccer Boys who were moved up for the game, Amari Robinson, Andres Pedro, Mathew Gurillo, Sebastian Martinez, Angel Martinez


Bryan Ceja playing as a midfielder again and doing well, providing passing options and helping Hawkins keep possession of the ball. He was also to have shown throughout the game spirit and mentality to stop the opposing team from getting great chances.

Ricardo Giron playing midfield provided his ability to move the ball up in attack as well as being able to regain possession of the ball. And throughout the game he was tasked to take the corner kicks making sure they reached his teammates in the middle.

Oscar Melendez yet again given the responsibility to take the free kicks as he is shown to give the best cross to his teammates from afar. He was also tasked to play as a center back defender and did amazing rarely letting the opposing team from getting through onto goal.

Oscar Berrera also played as a midfielder and played as a replacement for Milton Zuniga who was out injured. He played amazing being able to drive the ball up the field for attacks but also defending and stopping oncoming attacks on the sides.

Christopher Beckford (CJ) played in his usual position as a right back providing defensive coverage and as well as bringing the ball up for attacks. He’s always trusted when he runs up the field and given the space to do so by his teammates.

In the second half Francisco Guiltron opened the scoring by chipping the ball over the keeper as he attempted to run out. Francisco prior to the goal was giving it his all running for the ball in attacks as well as giving passes to his teammates when they were open.

José Garcia makes the score 2-0 for Hawkins by getting the ball over the keeper and making it into an open net. He also was showing passion and running abilities being a real danger to the opposing team who always watched him and tried to be careful around him.

In the second half of the game Mathew Guilo was subbed on and was expected to do well, but he performed amazingly keeping the net protected at all times. He stopped the ball from regular kicks to him as well as corner kicks. He was named the Man of The Match after the game while just being in his sophomore year.
