Hawkins Boys Varsity soccer stood their ground against Torres, with a great defense but also great attack. After the game many held the game in question due to choices made by the referees. Some think they missed crucial fouls and also being too lenient with the players and not giving them repercussions like a yellow card.

Everyone played their best, giving pressure to the opposing team and creating attacking chances when available. Even when the referee was not giving the calls they wanted, the team still gave it their all to win the game.

After the game CJ was named player of the match after a excellent performance in his defense. Rarely allowing the opposing team to pass through him and also giving assistance in the attack.
