Recently, the newest game of Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream has been trending online everywhere on different social media platforms, having the players hooked onto playing the game a lot, 24/7. Tomodachi life has been a calming video game since April 18, 2013, releasing on the 3DS in Japan, and releasing in North America on June 6, 2014. This game has always had a bunch of people hooked onto the game since the 3DS, and now that the newer version of the game has been released not only on the Nintendo Switch 2, but the first Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch Lite.

Selling the game to all versions of the Nintendo Switch has been the greatest decision that Nintendo did, as they have been making more sales than ever with this decision. So far, the game “is doing gangbuster numbers, selling nearly 4 million units in just two weeks,” according to a GameStop article, Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream Is Selling Like Hotcakes (2026). This game has been skyrocketing in numbers with how many people have been purchasing and playing the game. No one expected the game to get this much of a popularity, with the first release of the game being 12-13 years ago.

The way this game works, you make little characters called Miis, and they live on this tiny island where they can interact with other Miis, and even build relationships (Getting married, having a kid, being best friends, siblings). This game allows you to create different objects like foods, clothing, pets, etc. With creating a Mii, you can use different hairstyles, move around the faces, and even draw on the Mii anything you like. Compared to the first game, this game has been fully improvised as Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream gives more free will and allows for anything to happen. This game is not as strict as the first game, allowing players to do whatever they want. Many players believe that the idea of having free will for this game allows them to have lots of creativity and the freedom to create anything in their imagination.
