SCP: Secure. Contain. Protect. Each specimen has its own unique and horrifying trait and ability to either help you or wipe you from existence. Get ready to dive into the gruesome series of the SCP Files: Weekly SCPs found and featured! To give a little background information, anomalies are ranked from level 1 (being no threat but cannot be in public areas) to level 5 (being not allowed out of containment, highly dangerous).

The SCP Foundation was founded in June of 2007 with the first SCP being SCP-173 also known as “the Peanut”. Which is a humanoid creature that has lightning fast movement and superhuman strength. To survive this anomaly, personnel must have a team to enter the containment zone together, going alone is certain death. The anomaly must be watched at all times, even blinking can be fatal. One wrong move and it’ll snap your neck in a matter of seconds. The anomaly is ranked at Level 4 which means it requires constant surveillance and high security with little to no access with the researchers and doctors.

The SCP Foundation has continued to find new anomalies one of these anomalies that were contained would for example be classified as “safe” in its would be SCP-1841. This SCP is currently safely contained in a standard containment locker and is located at site 55 and is accessible by D-class personnel. D-Class or (Disposible) personnel are usually viewed as low class expendable personnel usually recruited from death row inmates. SCP-1841 is a soft-covered book titled 1001 Places To Be Before You Die by: Periscope Publishing . Although there is a publisher to the book, research stated that it was published in 1989 and stated that the name was registered in 1985; though this is true it is said that no book under this name has ever been published under this label and is considered to be defunct. SCP-1841 is known for making people who read it have the intense feeling of going to the locations listed in SCP-1841’s pages. With that said it is stated that if you were to have gone to the locations in SCP-1841’s pages then an overflowing sense of peace in themselves and the world though this often leads to the people neglecting their personal lives.
