Behind the scenes period five

Behind the scenes is Period five recording the Advocate News to air on December 2 at 8 am.  This is what you don’t get to see in the final cut after the videos are edited by students. To record the videos it takes work like setting up the lights and camera; and leadership such as the director saying “cut” and “quiet on the set.”

Dylan Perez is on air talent for English in Period five and he is starting to record. Sometimes Imani Canada is on air talent in Period 5 for English. When the director says, “quiet on the set,” everyone in class has to be quiet. No talking, no dragging chairs, etc.
Student director  Imani Canada yelling, “Cut,” because there were problems with the camera. When the director says cut the class can starrt talking again.

Leonardo De Los Santos is behind the camera recording the last couple of words for the Advocate News. After he finishes recording it is the camera person’s job to upload the video to Google Drive so the Video Editor can create the final cut.

Ariana Hernandez is a junior, class of 2027. She is in Journalism 1A class and has three brothers and two sisters.Her hobbies are to skateboard,play video games.She did a presentation in Ms. Moore class about power and freedom her topic was “Why is skateboarding not allowed in certain places”explaining how it’s connected to power and freedom and earned a B in that presentation.After highschool she wants to be a sheriff and will make it true.
