Are gas prices interfering with your daily life? People all over Los Angeles are trying to decide whether to keep driving their car because the gas prices are so high. Therefore, in this episode of the podcast V.I.K, the students of Hawkins interview staff of Hawkins to talk about how the gas prices are affecting their daily lives.

Kimberly Ramirez is 17 years old she was born on August 8 of 2008. She is a senior at Augustus F Hawkins. Kimberly Ramirez was born and raised in El Salvador and she came to the United States 3 years ago. Kimberly has one brother; she is the oldest. She plans to go to college after high school and study criminal law. Kimberly’s hobbies are painting and drawing, listening to music and spending time with her friends .Her favorite classes are history and English. Her goals are to go to college and build a house in El Salvador for her mother.

Vannia Velasquez, Reporter

Vannia Velasquez is a smart and hard working student that is looking forward to graduate in 2026. She is currently in her senior year and is also looking forward to graduate with this year. She aspires to pursue a marketing career. Vannia was born in Peru, Lima, her family migrated to Los Angeles in 2019 when she was only 10 years old. Vannia likes to help her family and friends when they need it.
