My name is Aaron Whitaker. I’m 16 years old and currently a junior in high school. Nine grade was a great year–everything felt fresh and exciting. After middle school, it felt like stepping into a whole new word. I saw an old friends again and ,made new ones. One of the most interesting challenges was figuring out where all my classes were because the school felt so big at first. Sophomore years was more difficult. I experienced the classic “sophomore slump,” had to retake multiple tests, and struggled just to earn a C at best–even going back to week one in some classes. Math has always been my toughest subject; it just doesn’t suit me. I’m more of an English person, and my highest GPA so far has been a 3.7.
