Students from Hawkins K-pop Club were able to attend The Twice Concert, one of the four sold-out nights in LA at the Kia Forum on January, 22, 2026. As a member of the K-pop club, this was an amazing opportunity to attend the Twice Concert with friends and teachers. I was really surprised at the fact we had the ability to attend the concert as a field trip as it is something that is out of the school’s league.
This is my second time seeing Twice in concert. My experience was very different from two years ago, now being able to enjoy with friends. The setting was really different this time we had a whole “Box” to ourselves (aka a suite), a space for us to all sing and dance without anyone in our way a stage right in front of us with a clear view.
Twice is one of the biggest girl groups in the world now tied up with groups like BlackPink and BTS. Twice is well known for their hit songs, like Take down from the movie K-pop Demon Hunters, Strategy Ft. Megan Thee Stallion, and hit single This Is For, they have ended the 2025 year with over 2.3 billion streams just on Spotify. They are a 9 member group ( Nayeon, Jeonyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu ) all debuted on October 20, 2015 almost 10 years ago with debut song titled ” Like OOH-AHH”.
This time around, the setlist was different from two years ago with songs from newer albums and solo songs. Everyone was dancing, singing ,barking?, crying, screaming. Everyone looked like they were having so much fun, even the teachers themselves. Not only did they play their own songs but even included “Takedown” from Kpop Demon Hunters, which was such a cool thing to experience.
