About the Contributors
Luis Fuentes, podcaster
Journalism was always fun and I enjoyed taking photos and it taught me a great deal about cameras and how to take photographs. Also I felt like journalism brought out the creativity I didn't know I had. In addition, I felt that what I learned about broadcasting might make for a great a career, because I want to have my own podcast about sports. Class of 2025
Osvaldo "Ozzy" Hernandez, Photographer
I am in the class of 2025. When I am not in school I usually like to do my favorite hobbies like play soccer or volleyball. Some things I learned in my journalism class is the use of lighting and positioning of objects and myself or others for portraits. I took the position as a reporter and I enjoyed the times where I've been needed. I also like to try to go to new positions but I have experience with taking pictures for the school's sports teams.
Imani Canada, reporter
Imani Canada is a 16-year-old junior who will graduate in 2026 from Augustus F. Hawkins. She enjoys reading, taking pictures, eating, and painting. She tends to enjoy being at school and playing sports such as flag football and softball. She also enjoys spending time with her friends in and out of school. One thing she dislikes about school, though, is taking tests as she tends to get distracted and panic, but then she ends up getting the grade she wanted. She hopes she can overcome her fear of taking tests to enjoy school more.

Kaleb Mosley was born on September 25, 2008 in Los Angeles, California. He had a strong liking for art ever since he was a little kid. His inspiration was the Marvel and DC comics, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and the Captain Underpants series.

After college, she wants to do either business marketing or computer science.
Ra'Von Armstrong, Video Key Grip
Ra’Von graduates in 2026 and he is very excited about that. Things he is interested in are basketball, football, and track. He is very determined and relentless when it comes to playing sports and being the best at them. He enjoys eating, even though his appearance may not suggest it. Lastly, he is the middle child of three siblings.
Hans Sam, Photographer/Director
Hans Sam (class of 2025). A young man who chases his goals with determination and is willing to do anything to accomplish them. He is a senior at Augustus F. Hawkins High School. He is someone who is resilient, disciplined and funny. This can be said because most of his friends and people who meet him say he’s a person who is willing to help them with what they need. He likes to help and thinks that being funny is a useful part of life, and thinks that everyone should have a smile on their face. During his free time, you will find him reading, spending quality time with his family, watching movies, also training for football to get that ring for Hawkins High School, or will be working with leadership to oversee school activities and have a better senior class.
