For the last three days, people in the Los Angeles area have been receiving very racist messages from random numbers. The messages state that they are selected to pick cotton on various dates in November and they will be picked up in a brown van. The messages also mention that those selected would be placed in groups A through Z. These messages were mainly sent to African Americans. police has advised anyone who’s received these messages to immediately contact the (911).There have also been wonders on how these people know your real names and how they have your phone numbers social media influencers believe it to be from placing your name and number into unfamiliar websites.But the big question from people who’s received this message is “How’d they know that I’m black.”
