I am in the class of 2025. When I am not in school I usually like to do my favorite hobbies like play soccer or volleyball. Some things I learned in my journalism class is the use of lighting and positioning of objects and myself or others for portraits. I took the position as a reporter and I enjoyed the times where I've been needed. I also like to try to go to new positions but I have experience with taking pictures for the school's sports teams.
Journalism was always fun and I enjoyed taking photos and it taught me a great deal about cameras and how to take photographs. Also I felt like journalism brought out the creativity I didn't know I had. In addition, I felt that what I learned about broadcasting might make for a great a career, because I want to have my own podcast about sports. Class of 2025
Jamie has truly excelled as the On-Air Talent for the weekly announcements, elevating it to an art form that will be difficult for future Hawk anchors to match. Set to graduate in the class of 2025, Jamie is a young Black man with a promising future. Besides being a student athlete he's following in the footsteps of several of his uncles as he aspires to join the Navy. Often described by teachers as inspiring, proactive, and the outline of a well-rounded individual destined for success, Jamie exudes self-confidence in all his endeavors. His ability to infuse his peers with energy and laughter serves as a source of personal joy and motivation for others. While he's not in front of the camera he's also good behind the camera as he takes pictures to perfect his craft both off and on camera.
