Advanced Art, Journalism, Generative Art and Design, Drawing, and SDC classes collaborated on May 30 for an evening to showacse student work. Spanning from the library to the music room, students and their families were treated to photographs, sculptures, accordion books and skecthings. Thanks to Mx. Dao and the VAPA Department, it’s an exhibition that will become an annual event at Hawkins. Here are highlights of some of the artful treasures students created.

When he graduates on June 10th, 2024 he plans on enlisting into the United States Navy, and later on in life becoming a firefighter. Kaylee Herrera, Reporter, photograher
This is Kaylee Herrera. She is 18 years old and her schedule is flexible. She is about to graduate high school and will be going to El Camino College. She aims to be a Veterinarian, in which she will learn about animal medicine and how to operate on animals who need help. If that doesn't work out her backup plan is to be a Marine Biologist to learn more about Marine Life. When she has free time, she likes to play games on her phone, spend time with her little brother, or go to the movie theater.
